Bake with Dignity & Mum's Kulfi 2023 Diwali Initiative
Diwali with a Difference 😊🙏 (2023)
With the blessings and good wishes from many of you in 2021 and 2022, we at Mum's Kulfi decided to reach out to the amazing folks at Bake With Dignity, a social enterprise that provides sheltered employment for adults with learning disabilities
based out of Leisure Commerce Square at Sunway.
BWDs team of special bakers make delicious cookies and brownies amongst many more delectable treats, so, we thought what better way to get into the festive mood than by offering some of the team members products.
With that in mind, Mum's Kulfi is buying the sweet treats @ RM8 each and placing them in the Diwali boxes & further contributing 10% from the sales of each Diwali box towards the Bake With Dignity cause.
Here is what we are offering :
Diwali Box 1 comes with 10 assorted regular cups plus a box of cookies RM 71 each box
Diwali Box 2 14 cups of assorted regular flavour cups and a heart shaped brownie RM 96

We were taught at school that if it ain't broke.... don't fix it 😂 and with that in mind (along with the memory of 5 smiling kids photo and plenty more behind the scenes.... all thanks to the overwhelming support by our clients and also the management of PKKTB.... we are humbled to present Light up a home this Diwali ... part 2
Enter Pusat Kreatif Kanak-kanak Tuanku Bainun or (PKKTB) as its fondly known, under the patronage of Yang Maha Mulia Raja Permaisuri Tuanku Bainun, is a non-profit organisation with a mission established officially in February 2013 to provide a safe haven for children and youth from the age of 7 - 17 years old regardless of income, gender, religion, language or ability can have access to creative learning to explore and develop an appreciation of the arts, talents and cultures of diverse communities when we reached out with the idea of tying up with their esteemed organisation and including a child's handpainted Matka candle into each of our Mum's Kulfi Diwali boxes for this coming festive season, much to our blessings...it was met with a resounding YES😍🥰
PKKTB, as principal sponsor, is absorbing the cost of each handmade Matka candle, which will be made by a child from the TTDI Long House (Rumah Panjang) community. This includes the design, pattern, lace work and the candle wax, filled with jasmine essence.
In return, Mum's Kulfi is buying the candles @ RM7 each and placing them in the Diwali boxes & further contributing 10% from the sales of each Diwali box towards the TTDI Long House.
Here is what we are offering :
Diwali Box comes with 9 assorted regular cups plus a handmade candle and a note. *RM 65 each box So for those of you who would like to send a Diwali gift pack out this season, lets also make a child smile at the same time :) * price is for self collection from PJ Fraser Towers. For deliveries let us know the address and we will confirm the charges for you. * All pre orders will be executed between the dates of 20th October till 24th of October on Diwali day. This gives the children enough time to make the candles :)

As another challenging year comes to an end, let us rejoice in all the blessings accorded to us and let us pay it forward in gratitude and good deeds!
With this in mind, and with our inception of Saffron Threads, Mum's Kulfi took the bold step and reached out to established well known associations with a track record of helping children in need. 😃

Box 2 - comes with 4 Royal Alphonso, 6 assorted cups plus 2 handmade candles and a note. RM 76 each box*
